Anitha Kholay Motorsports Academy is where every aspirant is tutored and trained to tangentiate in the circle of motorsports. Priding itself on having some of the most skilled multi-surface drivers on the grid, aspirants will never leave without making their mark on the track.

The academy oﬀers custom tailored training and instruction modules for aspiring drivers in karting, rallying, autocross, two wheeler racing, and car racing. With a strong intention to develop the talent within the driver, training is always oriented in a high-performance manner by established national champions.

Designed for aspiring drivers at a variety of levels from novice, intermediate and advanced in all classes of karting, rallying and track racing, the sheer variety and intent to excel constantly always remains a motive of the academy.

About the Karting Program

Recommended for Drivers with little or no experience

Level 1

This program comprises of basic and intermediate techniques required to build skills for national level competition. It includes –

2 days of training at the Aruani Grid racetrack
over 10 sessions per day
Open wheel 4 stroke race kart
One-on-one training on track

About the Advanced Karting Program

Level 2

The advanced program is the next step towards the bigger leagues of national level competition. With advanced and faster race karts, training is more focussed on driver and driving skill.

In a 2 day program, you will prepare with-

National karting champions in training
2-Stroke race prepared and equipped karts
FIA Level Safety gear and equipment

What you will learn in Level 2 Training

Technical aspects of Karting / Kart.
What is Understeer and oversteer and how to control both.
How a Rotax engine works.
Front end geometry for racing and set up changes.
Lap time consistency.
Advanced braking technique.
How to report and understand feedback.
2-way communication between you and race engineers.
How does a carburetor work.
How does Jetting affects the performance of your kart.
How tyre pressure affects the performance.
Learn about advanced components of the kart and their functions.

Post Level 2 Training

You will need to purchase/rent a kart at the Rotax Championships that happens yearly – JKTyre National Rotax Max Championship (JKNRMC)
The JKNRMC is essentially a Rotax series, all karts run according to a single speciﬁcation.
∙The Rotax series is run in the following categories:
- Micromax: 8-12; 6.8hp @ 6,500 rpm, special exhaust & radiator
- Junior Max: 13-16; 20.4 hp @ 8,500 rpm (same engine as Sr. Max, detuned)
- Senior Max: 15+; 28.5 hp @ 14,500 rpm, power valve for added power

Important Information for parents

FOR KIDS UNDER 18 AN INDEMNITY NEEDS TO BE SIGNED
TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO KEEP YOUR WARD SAFE AS MOTORSPORT CAN BE
DANGEROUS.
INSTRUCTIONS ARE GIVEN AT THE START OF EVERY TRAINING PROGRAM ON
HOW TO BE SAFE. HOWEVER RARELY INCIDENTS DO OCCUR
ANY TRAINEE FOUND IGNORING SAFETY RULES WILL BE IMMEDIATELY
ASKED TO EXIT THE KART AND TRACK WITHOUT A REFUND.
AT ANY LEVEL, PROPER SAFETY EQUIPMENT IS MANDATORY.

Please ensure you have a well-fitting helmet at arrival, as we DO NOT permit loose helmets
Program costs may vary based on the track layout and types of kart
For any damage caused, the dispute will be sorted through the academy and payments will be made through the academy only
